Evening Worship

Coffee with the Pastor
You are invited to join Pastor Lea after worship service on the second Sunday of each month. This is a great opportunity to meet Pastor Lea, ask questions, share your story, and discuss ideas over a cup of coffee!

Interfaith Thanksgiving Service Nov. 25

The Nu’uanu Valley Interfaith Thanksgiving Service will be held at Honpa Hongwanji , on Tues., Nov. 25, 2025 at 7:00 pm. Our theme is “Kahea – Calling All Peacemakers”. Participants include Temple Emanu-el, Baha’I Faith, First Unitarian Church, Hawaiian Church of Hawaii Nei, UCC Judd St. Church, Soka Gakkai International, Nu’uanu Congregational Church, Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Community Church, Honpa Hongwanji Hawaii Betsuin, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Harris UMC. A fellowship time follows the service with the added opportunity to visit participating non-profits that serve the community. See Pastor Lea, Mona Bomgaars or Diane Matsuura who serve on the planning team for any questions. Everyone is invited to attend and bring friends!

All Saints Day – Nov. 9
Sunday, November 9 has been chosen as All Saints Day, the special worship service when we honor and remember the saints that have gone before us since October 2024. If there is a loved one you would like remembered, please call or email the Harris Secretary, at 536-9602 or admin@harrisumc.org and provide the full name of your saint and date of passing. We would also like a photo of your loved one sent via email to admin@harrisumc.org as soon as possible, but no later than Friday, October 31.
