Senior Pastor
Rev. Lea Booth

Lea grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and is a lifelong Methodist. She enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2004, was stationed in San Diego, California as a helicopter crew chief, and served three deployments overseas. After separating from active duty in 2009 as a Sergeant (E-5), Lea discerned a call to ordained ministry in the UMC. Lea received a Master of Divinity degree from Drew Theological School in 2017 and was ordained an Elder in the United Methodist Church in 2023. She served churches in New Jersey and San Diego prior to being appointed to Harris UMC in 2025.
Lea met her husband Josh in 2009, and they were married in 2019. They welcomed their daughter in 2022, and relish spending time as a family in this beautiful place.
Lea is dedicated to sharing the love of Christ with the world and to finding ways to engage the church in sharing that love through connections with the local community. She lives in East Honolulu with her family, dog, and cat. She loves good coffee, good books, and any time spent on the water.
