We are assisting our pastors to "stay connected" with our bereaved, ill and home-bound members through home / telephone visits and written messages.
The first Sunday of February, April, June, August, October, and December is designated as Lay Visitation Sunday where the visitation team will go and offer consecrated communion elements to our home-bound friends and families. Communion to the home-bound was instituted in 2009 so our "shut-ins" will no longer be "shut-out" from the Lord's table.
After worship on the first Sunday of April, August and December, we gather in Komuro Lounge to share a meal, fellowship and each others concerns and issues. We also pick up our Assignment / Visitation cards and Communion elements during that time.
Please join us in this vital ministry to share God's love and comfort to our members in distress. As Tim and Julie Smith said, "We are called to serve. We are called by Grace to cherish Christ in every face."
